About Programme

Due
to the establishment of R&D centers in Turkey and the development of our
pharmaceutical industry, the need for personnel with a postgraduate degree in
industry-related subjects, especially in the license and R&D departments,
is increasing. The aim is to receive an education that can help in solving the
problems encountered in the industry. It is thought that the employment of
students who complete their master's degree in this program will increase and
become easier in the pharmaceutical industry. Also in this period in Turkey,
R&D centers and Santez projects gain importance, and it will be possible to
work together in Technoparks and joint projects within the framework of the
cooperation that can be provided with the industry. It will be possible for the
domestic pharmaceutical industry to produce patented products as well as
generic drug production.

Assessment and Grading
(1) Exams are evaluated over 100 full points. The midterm and final exam grades to be used in calculating the success grade are recommended to the Rector's Office by the relevant boards, taking into account the characteristics of the courses. In addition, the lecturer of the course makes an announcement at the beginning of the semester covering the content of the course, all kinds of issues that will be the basis for the calculation of the success grade, the relevant resources and the time to spare for the students outside the class hours.
(2) For students who fulfill the requirements in Article 21 and take the final exam, the score calculated as above is called the raw success score.
(3) A student who has a raw success score below 25.00 fails the course by getting a direct (FF) grade. The success grade of the student with a raw success score of 25.00 and above is determined as one of the letter grades whose expansions and coefficients are stated below, using one of the methods prepared by the Rectorate, taking into the general condition of the class account the arithmetic averages and statistical distribution. After this evaluation, it is possible that the raw achievement scores of 25.00 and above have letter grade equivalents (FF).
