About Programme
|
The main theme of the graduate courses of the Department of Pharmacognosy is biological origin pharmaceutical raw materials. This course covers scientific research techniques and ethics, practical working techniques in pharmacognosy, separation techniques, transgenic plant technologies, natural sourced bioactive nitrogenous compounds, Opium alkaloids and natural lipids.

History

Gazi University Institute of Health Sciences is affiliated with Gazi University, with the provisions in Articles 3 / f, 19, 50 and 65 of the Higher Education Law No.2547 and the Decree Law No. 41 on the Organization of Higher Education Institutions Faculty of Dentistry, Faculty of Pharmacy, Faculty of Medicine, Health Master's and Doctorate programs at the Faculty of Sciences and the School of Physical Education and Sports started on 05.08.1983. Master's and doctorate programs in the Department of Pharmacognosy started as of this date.

Admission Requirements
For registration and admission to the graduate program, students must meet the conditions in accordance with the general principles of the GAZI UNIVERSITY GRADUATE EDUCATION-TEACHING AND EXAM REGULATIONS, which was published in the Official Gazette dated June 11, 2019 (Number: 30798).
To be a 4-year or 5-year pharmacy graduate.

Higher Grade Transition
|
Graduates who successfully complete the master's program can apply to doctoral programs in their own or multi-disciplinary fields, provided that they get a valid grade from the ALES exam and provide English language proficiency, and are accepted if they are successful in the interview.
