Management Information Systems, which connects the technical perspective of information systems to the managerial approaches of business, shows how information can be used to embetter business activities.
The program enables generation of creative solutions that help explaining the technological improvements in the fields of business management such as accounting, finance and marketing. The program also provides the expertise to conduct and manage teams to develop such solutions and the technological point of view to understand the work requirements.

The Department of Management Information Systems, which has firstly admitted students in the Spring semester of 2007-2008 Education period, aims to educate managers and academicians who are conscious of the contemporary management mentality and are comprehensive of the usage of information technologies in management and the importance of modern management practices.The managers who have a post graduate education in this area have a chance to reach very exact decisions in a very short time and the young academicians start their academic careers with a firm first step.
